What is PokéSize Up?
A free browser game about Pokémon sizes. Size Up has you resize a Pokémon until it’s to scale with another; Stair asks you to sort Pokémon from shortest to tallest; Higher or Lower asks whether the next Pokémon is taller or shorter.
When does the Daily reset?
Every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone plays the same Daily, so results can be compared.
Can I play past Dailies?
Yes. Tap the date at the top of the game to open the calendar, or use the arrows next to it, and play any past day.
Where do the Pokémon heights come from?
From PokéAPI, which lists each Pokémon’s official Pokédex height. The sprites are drawn so that each Pokémon’s visible height matches that official height.
Which Pokémon are included?
The games draw from the Kanto Pokédex (the original 151). Johto Pokémon join on October 1, 2026, and more regions follow after that. A new region never changes past Dailies: each day keeps the Pokémon it was played with.
How do I catch Pokémon for my Pokédex?
Score more than 900 in a Size Up round to catch the Pokémon you resized, or call a Pokémon right in Higher or Lower. Your Pokédex shows every Pokémon you’ve caught in one line, at true scale, in Pokédex order or by height.
Are there shiny Pokémon?
Yes: one appearance in 8,192 is shiny, as in the original games. It shows its shiny colours with a sparkle, and if you catch it, it’s saved shiny in your Pokédex.
How does scoring work in Size Up?
Each round is worth up to 1,000 points, five rounds make a Daily (5,000 max). Twice or half the real size scores 500, four times off scores 0, and within 3% counts as spot on.
Do I need an account?
No. Your progress is saved in your browser. Accounts, to keep your Dailies on every device and join the leaderboards, are coming soon.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free, with no download: it runs in any modern browser, on phones and computers.
Is PokéSize Up an official Pokémon game?
No. It’s a fan project, not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and its names are trademarks of their respective owners.
